TEHRAN – In a joint press conference with his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi after their Saturday meeting in Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that relations between the two countries are increasingly.
Araghchi said the two diplomats held talks about regional issues, including the developments in Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria.
For his part, Al Busaidi said, “Dialogue is a solution to create a region free from problems. Our position has always been that the doors of dialogue and conversation must be open.”
Araghchi had said on a visit to Beirut on Friday that he did not know if Al Busaidi was carrying a message to Iran from the United States on the Tehran visit.
